WHAT HAS BEEN SAID:
Lyndsey said it was "fresh 'n' funky", "blue-eyed soul", with a "Harder to Breathe" Maroon 5 feel, complete with "another big, bold chorus smack dab in the middle of this splashy production." She calls it a "hit" and notes that it's one of her favorites. [Source:

My Predictions:
I'm unfamiliar with blue-eyed soul, but I assume it's a lot like bluegrass. I think "Can't Stay Away" will rely heavily on a twangy banjo and a couple rapid-fire fiddles to keep it an uptempo club banger. I expect 50 Cent to introduce each verse with "we gonna have a party like it's your birthday."
Or, if that doesn't turn out to be true, I think this is gonna be one of my favorites. I was really excited about the Elizondo collabs before and hearing about it actually having soul just has cranked that up. And I have no idea what the actual sound is going to be, but the title "Can't Stay Away" reminds me of a lot of really heavy beat-driven rap songs I listen to that are pretty empty lyrically but still just awesome to listen to - sort of like pump-up songs (ala Nas' sample of "Unforgettable", "Can't Forget About You").
