Yay! The Virginia Beach love-child!

Random fact: Castro has a great song with a similar title. I don't ever remember for sure if his is "It's Alright With Me" or the same as this one.

I like the idea of Jason and Kris being on some celestial plane together. If it's just overlap of titles or song themes, so be it.

I am really looking forward to this song because it sounds like it's going to be catchy as all go out. Considering the praises Joe King paid Kris and his ear for melodies, and King's reputation for crafting hits, I have high hopes for this collaboration. Plus Mike Flynn seems to understand Kris (re his 'rescuing' of Red Guitar') as an artist, so I think all around this could produce a great song.

"Alright with Me" is such a Kris title too.

Avery, have I told you lately that I love your oranges?

I'm absolutely loving this 30 second snippet. Does anyone else think it has a bluegrass/country vibe? Seriously, it's downright toe-tapping. And it makes me feel happy and smiley.

If you had asked me to pick the Joe King collaboration off the album without any prior knowledge, I wouldn't have guessed this was the one.

If you had asked me to pick the Joe King collaboration off the album without any prior knowledge, I can honestly admit I wouldn't have guessed this was the one.

This song is a total surprise!

Posted this in album thread: It has the folksy country-ish vibe that I love. Upbeat and fun. I can see this being a hit and featured on soundtracks!

Random fact: Castro has a great song with a similar title. I don't ever remember for sure if his is "It's Alright With Me" or the same as this one.

That's so funny because the first time I played the snippet (yes, I've played it an embarrasing number of times already) I thought that I could totally imagine Jason doing this song.
. . . if Allen could be freed from the gaggle of producers who produced this, and allowed to write his own songs, he could be a serious contender!

I also thought of Jason when I listened t this song. It's funny because I think that Jason and Kris are too very different singers, but this does remind me of something that Jason would sing, maybe because it is so light hearted.

It reminds me of the vibe of Jason's single.
