I'm sure everyone discussed this on Twitter or somewhere last night, but anyway...

According to Kris's Twitter feed, "I Need To Know" was used on this week's episode of "The Vampire Diaries" on the CW. It's currently featured on the CW music page (http://www.cwtv.com/thecw/the-vampire-diaries-music - the episode is called "Kill or Be Killed").

It was not, apparently. Someone mentioned that that mention might actually be paid for in some way (by label/management) which sounds like a reasonable enough assertion.

I Need To Know is at #672 on iTunes. Which is about as high as The Truth ever got without a video.

IIRC, they listed 2 songs at the end of the show.

I don't even watch TVD, but I tuned in to catch INTK and it sounded soo good, and they played practically the whole song! This week, what is it?!!

i know the song got to like 530 on itunes, if anyone knows i'd really appreciate an answer

Kris Allen sold 1,000 copies of "I Need to Know" after it aired on "The Vampire Diaries." That was a 1,000% increase over the previous week. Release-to-date sales for the track: 7,000.
